General Refund Policy

  • Refunds apply only to unused lessons.

  • Completed lessons are non-refundable.

1. Cancellations & Rescheduling by Students

✓ Free cancellation or rescheduling up to 12 hours before the lesson
  • Parents/Students may cancel or reschedule without penalty 12+ hours before the scheduled time.

✗ Cancellations within 12 hours
  • Lessons canceled within 12 hours are counted as completed (no refund, no reschedule).

  • This protects teacher preparation time and schedule stability.

No-Shows
  • If the student does not attend, the lesson is marked as completed.

  • Teacher will wait 15 minutes for 50-minute lessons (or 10 minutes for 25-minute lessons).

 

2. Teacher Cancellations / Technical Issues

If the teacher cancels or is late
  • The lesson is refunded or rescheduled for free (parent chooses).

If the teacher has technical issues
  • Issues on the teacher’s side → Free reschedule or credit back.

If the student has technical issues
  • Problems on the student’s side count as a completed lesson.

3. Packages & Bundled Lessons

  • Unused lessons in a package can be refunded within 30 days of purchase.

  • Refund amount = number of unused lessons × lesson price.

  • Used lessons in a package are non-refundable.

4. Refund Processing Times

  • Refunds are processed via Stripe and return to the original payment method.

  • Processing time: 5–10 business days, depending on bank.

5. Fair Use & Abuse Prevention

Buzzy Bee English reserves the right to deny refunds in cases of:

  • Excessive last-minute cancellations

  • Attempts to refund lessons already taken

  • Fraudulent or abusive behavior
