1. About Buzzy Bee English

Buzzy Bee English provides online English lessons for children and learners through scheduled one-on-one classes conducted via video conferencing platforms. Lessons, bookings, scheduling, communications, and payments are managed through our website and approved third-party service providers.

2. Parent or Guardian Authority

By booking a lesson, purchasing a lesson plan, making a payment, or allowing a student to participate in classes, you confirm that you are the student’s parent or legal guardian, or that you are otherwise authorized to act on behalf of the student.

 

You also confirm that you have the authority to consent to the student’s participation in Buzzy Bee English lessons, including the use of online video platforms, communications related to scheduling and lessons, and the recording of lessons as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

3. Use of Our Website

You agree to:

​

• Use our website and services only for lawful purposes;

• Not attempt to disrupt, interfere with, or gain unauthorized access to our systems;

• Provide accurate and complete information when booking lessons, purchasing lesson plans, or making payments; and

• Use our services in a respectful and appropriate manner.

 

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website or services at any time without prior notice.

4. Lesson Bookings and Scheduling

All lessons must be booked through our official booking system or approved communication channels. Parents must select a lesson schedule for the student before purchasing a lesson plan.

By booking a lesson or purchasing a lesson plan, you agree to:

​

• Provide accurate contact and student information;

• Select a lesson schedule based on available teacher times;

• Ensure the student has a suitable learning environment and stable internet connection; and

• Follow the School’s guidelines for attendance, conduct, and respectful behavior.

 

Lesson times are subject to teacher availability. Buzzy Bee English does not guarantee that every preferred schedule, teacher, or time slot will be available.

 

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, reschedule, or terminate bookings for violations of these Terms, inappropriate behavior, scheduling conflicts, teacher unavailability, or other operational reasons.

5. Lesson Plans and Pricing

Buzzy Bee English offers the following lesson plans:

​

• Starter Plan: 4 classes, once per week, at USD 15 per class, for a total plan price of USD 60;

• Growth Plan: 12 classes, once per week, at USD 13 per class, for a total plan price of USD 156; and

• Fluency Plan: 36 classes, once per week, at USD 10 per class, for a total plan price of USD 360.

 

All prices listed by Buzzy Bee English are in United States dollars (USD) unless expressly stated otherwise.

Lesson plans are purchased in advance. The number of classes, class frequency, applicable price per class, and total plan price are based on the selected plan at the time of purchase.

 

Buzzy Bee English may update its pricing, plans, packages, discounts, or promotions from time to time. Changes will not affect lesson plans already purchased unless otherwise agreed or required by applicable law.

6. Promotional Pricing and Discounts

Buzzy Bee English may offer promotional pricing, discounts, coupons, or special offers from time to time.

Promotions are temporary, may be subject to additional terms, and may be changed, limited, or discontinued at any time unless otherwise stated. Promotional pricing applies only during the stated promotional period and only to eligible purchases.

​

Promotions, discounts, or special offers cannot be applied retroactively to previous purchases unless expressly approved by Buzzy Bee English in writing.

​

7. Lesson Plan Validity

All lessons included in a purchased lesson plan must be completed within one year from the date of purchase.

​

Unused lessons may expire after one year unless otherwise agreed by Buzzy Bee English in writing or required by applicable law.

​

8. No Transfer or Resale of Lesson Plans

Lesson plans are for the enrolled student only.

​

Lesson plans, unused classes, credits, discounts, and promotional offers may not be transferred, assigned, shared, resold, gifted, or used by another student, family, or account without prior written approval from Buzzy Bee English.

​

9. Payments

All payments are securely processed through Stripe or other approved third-party payment processors.

​

By making a payment, you agree to:

​

• Pay the listed price at the time of purchase or booking;

• Use a valid and authorized payment method; and

• Pay in United States dollars (USD), unless another currency is expressly offered at checkout.

 

Buzzy Bee English does not store your payment information on its servers.

​

10. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy, which is available on our website and incorporated into these Terms by reference.

​

By purchasing a lesson plan or booking a lesson, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Refund Policy.

​

Refunds, cancellations, rescheduling, credits, and unused lessons are subject to the Refund Policy, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

​

11. Attendance, Late Arrival, and Rescheduling

Parents and students are responsible for attending lessons on time.

​

If a student is late, the class will not be extended. The lesson will still end at the originally scheduled time.

​

If a student is late and the parent, guardian, or student does not contact Buzzy Bee English to let us know that the student will join late, the teacher may leave after waiting 15 minutes. In such cases, the full class will be considered completed and consumed.

​

If a parent or guardian wants to reschedule a class, they must inform Buzzy Bee English at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the class. Rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be denied, and the class may be considered completed and consumed, unless otherwise stated in our Refund Policy or required by applicable law.

​

12. Student Conduct and Safety

To maintain a safe and productive learning environment:

​

• Parents or guardians are responsible for the student’s online safety;

• Students must behave respectfully toward teachers at all times;

• Students must not use inappropriate language, gestures, images, videos, or content during lessons;

• Students must not share inappropriate materials through chat, screen sharing, file sharing, or any other platform feature; and

• Parents or guardians should provide appropriate supervision based on the student’s age, maturity, and needs.

 

Inappropriate language, content, or behavior will not be tolerated.

 

Violations may result in removal from a lesson, suspension, or termination of services without refund, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

13. Teacher Conduct

We are committed to providing professional and qualified instructors.

14. Class Complaints and Review Period

Parents or guardians should submit any complaint, concern, or request for review related to a specific class within 25 days of the class date.

​

This review period is necessary because lesson recordings are generally scheduled to be moved to Zoom trash after 30 days, as described in our Privacy Policy. Complaints submitted after 25 days may be more difficult or impossible to review using class footage.

​

Buzzy Bee English may still review complaints submitted after 25 days based on available information, including attendance records, teacher notes, communications, and other available records. However, Buzzy Bee English does not guarantee that class recordings will still be available after the 25-day review period.

​

15. Teacher Assignment and Substitution

Buzzy Bee English reserves the right to assign or substitute teachers as necessary.

​

Teacher substitutions do not constitute grounds for refunds, provided the lesson is delivered as scheduled.

​

Buzzy Bee English also reserves the right to change teacher assignments due to scheduling needs, teacher availability, emergencies, technical issues, or other operational reasons.

​

16. Technical Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring:

​

• Stable internet access;

• A functioning device with a camera and microphone;

• Access to the video platform used for lessons; and

• A quiet and suitable learning environment for the student.

 

Lessons affected by technical issues on the student’s side are considered completed unless required by applicable law.

 

Buzzy Bee English is not responsible for missed, interrupted, delayed, or incomplete lessons caused by the student’s device, internet connection, software, platform access, or learning environment.

17. Lesson Recording and Consent

Classes may be recorded by Buzzy Bee English for internal purposes only, including quality assurance, teacher training, safety, dispute resolution, and compliance.

​

By booking and participating in lessons, you consent to the recording of the student’s audio, video, chat messages, shared content, and lesson participation.

​

Recordings are not provided for parent or student review and remain the exclusive property of Buzzy Bee English. Recordings may not be copied, shared, requested, downloaded, published, or distributed by parents, guardians, students, or other users.

​

Parents, guardians, and students may not record, screenshot, livestream, publish, distribute, or otherwise capture any lesson, teacher, student, lesson material, or class interaction without prior written permission from Buzzy Bee English.

​

Lesson recordings are governed by our Privacy Policy, which provides more information about recording, storage, and usage.

​

18. Privacy and Child Privacy

Your privacy and the safety of students are important to us.

​

All personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Because Buzzy Bee English provides lessons to children, parents and guardians are responsible for reviewing our Privacy Policy and providing any required consent for the collection, use, processing, storage, and handling of student information.

​

Student information may include, but is not limited to, the student’s name, age or learning level, contact or scheduling information provided by the parent or guardian, lesson participation, audio, video, chat messages, and shared lesson content.

​

By purchasing a lesson plan, booking a lesson, or allowing the student to participate in classes, you consent to the collection and use of student information as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy, except where additional consent is required by applicable law.

19. Communications

By providing your contact information, you agree that Buzzy Bee English may contact you by email, phone, messaging apps, booking platforms, or other communication channels you provide.

​

These communications may include lesson scheduling, rescheduling, payment updates, class reminders, teacher updates, policy updates, customer support, and other service-related messages.

 

You are responsible for ensuring that your contact information remains accurate and up to date.

​

20. Intellectual Property

All lesson materials, worksheets, videos, content, logos, brand elements, website content, and other materials are the property of Buzzy Bee English unless otherwise stated.

​

You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, resell, publish, modify, record, share, or publicly display any materials without prior written permission.

​

Access to lesson materials is provided only for the student’s personal learning use and does not transfer ownership or intellectual property rights.

​

21. No Guarantee of Results

While we strive to provide high-quality instruction, learning outcomes vary by student.

 

Buzzy Bee English does not guarantee specific results, improvements, grades, academic performance, test outcomes, language proficiency, or admission to any school or program.

​

22. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Buzzy Bee English shall not be liable for:

​

• Technical failures beyond our reasonable control;

• Interruptions caused by third-party platforms, including video conferencing, booking, communication, or payment platforms;

• Losses resulting from misuse of the website or services;

• Behavioral issues or disruptions caused by the student;

• Missed or incomplete lessons caused by the student’s technical issues, absence, late arrival, or failure to attend;

• Unavailability of a preferred teacher, schedule, or time slot; or

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

 

All services are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, except where warranties cannot be excluded under applicable law.

23. Force Majeure

Buzzy Bee English shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations, rescheduling, or service interruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to internet outages, power failures, natural disasters, platform outages, teacher emergencies, illness, labor disruptions, governmental actions, or other events outside our reasonable control.

24. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Unauthorized chargebacks or payment disputes may result in suspension or termination of services.

​

We encourage parents and guardians to contact us directly to resolve billing concerns before initiating a dispute with a payment provider.

​

Lesson plans are paid in advance according to the selected plan and are not billed on a weekly recurring basis unless expressly stated at the time of purchase.

 

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated, Buzzy Bee English may suspend access to lessons while the dispute is being reviewed or resolved.

​

25. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services for repeated violations of these Terms, inappropriate conduct, misuse of our platform, nonpayment, payment disputes, safety concerns, or other conduct that Buzzy Bee English determines may harm students, teachers, staff, users, or the School.

​

Termination of services does not create an automatic right to a refund. Refunds, if any, will be handled according to our Refund Policy and applicable law.

​

26. International Users and Applicable Law

Buzzy Bee English may provide services to students and families located outside the United States.

​

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of our services is permitted in your location. Although these Terms are governed by Delaware law, some jurisdictions may provide consumer protection, privacy, child protection, or other rights that cannot be waived by contract.

 

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable law.

27. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

28. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

29. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The most current version will be posted on our website with the updated date. Continued use of our services after the updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where additional notice or consent is required by applicable law.
